The Olympic Games from our Point of View!
At Unforgettable, we always strive to push the boundaries, not just in the events we create but also in our personal passions. This summer, our very own director, Tom Alemanno, took his expertise and love for mountain biking to the international stage, serving as a technical commentator at one of the world’s most prestigious events: the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Tom has long been a fixture in the mountain biking community, known for his deep involvement in the sport and as a technical expert for Swiss television, where he covers global events like the World Cup and World Championships. His role as an expert commentator is something he takes great pride in, approaching it with the same dedication and seriousness that athletes bring to their competitions. “It’s an honor,” Tom said, “and a recognition that I deeply value, especially for the sport’s community and the dedicated fans who follow every race.”
But this year, the Olympics offered something truly special. Being part of the Swiss TV crew in Paris, following the Swiss Olympic delegation journey, was an experience Tom hadn’t even dreamed of, but it felt like a reward for years of dedication, not just in sports but across many facets of his career—leading Unforgettable, collaborating with media, and diving into a variety of creative projects.
Reflecting on the Swiss athletes’ performance, Tom admitted it was bittersweet. Although no medals were brought home this time, the sheer effort, training, and resilience they displayed over the past three years were remarkable. “It’s a lesson for all of us,” Tom remarked. “Whether it’s training for an Olympic race or building something meaningful in life, the daily grind, the sacrifices, and the ability to keep pushing forward, even in the toughest moments, is what matters most.”
On his journey back from Paris on the TGV, surrounded by former Olympians who had competed in multiple Games, Tom reflected on what he was taking home from this experience. Despite not being in the race itself, his involvement with the sport, and his evolving role within it, brought immense fulfillment. “Being around the best in the sport I love reminds me of why I started and why my passion for it continues to grow,” he said.
For Tom, and for all of us at Unforgettable, the lesson is clear: success isn’t always about the medals or the immediate outcomes. It’s about the commitment, the persistence, and the pride that comes from putting your heart into something you believe in. As Tom said, “What truly counts is the effort, the honesty, and the dedication you invest in your goals. In the end, that’s what brings the greatest reward.”
